So this is Christmas

I had one of these trees when I was little, so i just HAD to buy this one tonight at the Goodwill. It's one where all the little light sticks come out and you can move them around. E loves anything small, dangerous, and breakable so as you might imagine he is quite enthralled with this tree. Merry Christmas!!

We found a super cute wooden arc at Goodwill tonight filled with tons of wooden animals. E loves it!!

Monster!!

Ok, so maybe I shouldn't post this online for everyone to see. But!! It's pretty funny, so I had to. E thought it was hilarious to wear undies (clean, I was folding laundry) as a necklace and then pretend he was a monster.

Daycare picture day!

I took some pictures of E and his friends at daycare last week. Here are E's pictures (of course he doesnt look at the camera : )





Elliott is almost 26 months and can:
-count to 11
-sing quite a bit of his ABC's
-if you ask him what time it is, he will tell you 6:30, no matter what time it really is : )
-he told me he liked my hair yesterday, that it was bewtiful.
-is still a picky eater.
-Loves super heros, dragons, and monsters.
-is getting close to being potty trained.
-talks in complete sentences.
-LOVES the park and going down big slides by himself
-can sing "you are my sunshine"

We had a fun day at the park, here are a few of my favorite pictures!

Farm!

Last week we stopped at a local family farm to pick some apples. While we were there, E got to see some pigs up close. He was SO excited!








Elliott LOVED seeing the pigs and helping to water them!

Whooops!

So ummm, sorry 'bout the post delay. Elliott is HUGE! He is almost two and is SO smart! He does things like
-he picks what he wants to eat out of our pantry "I pick"
-LOVES to color "I cowr" He can draw "round and round"
-LOVES reading books, especially a few favorites like "ten in the bed"
-Speaks in full sentences.
-Knows "mine" and "Elliotts turn", and everything is his- just in case you were wondering.
-Likes to play football with dada- (tackle football : )
-Has went in the potty twice, very slow progress.
-Eats about 5 things- pb&J, breakfast bars, waffles with syrup, fruit and yogurt. He says "I dlike it" if he doesnt like it. Tried pizza last night and like it though (progress!)
-TAkes a shower instead of a bath.
-Sleeps in a big boy bed.
-says cute things like "mama, whewr r u", "wuv u" "nigh nigh"
-Loves to play in blanket forts!
-Loves to play music with dada.
-follows directions well
-likes to play "dogs". This is either crawling on all fours barking or riding on mama or dada's back barking. This game is also played as frogs or "wibbits"
-LOVES dancing to his CD of fun songs. There is a song where you tiptoe, stomp, walk, and run. He does al of these.
-Loves to play with little action figurines. They are his "guys". There are all different colors so those are their names. "Green" and "blue" guys are his favorite. He is pretty good with his colors (genius, I told you! : )










I know there are more things, but that will at least get us started!
